A Swirling Tornado of Fire at Elkhart Aquatics
A striking spectacle of flame is on full display at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center project. The Tornado fireplace is a beautiful example of Montigo’s newest custom commercial product.
We partnered with American Heritage Fireplace in Chicago, IL, to develop a complementary design to suit the unique location where this fireplace would be displayed.
Located at the peak of a large common area atrium, this 3-sided triangular custom commercial gas fireplace echoes the shape of the room and provides a unmissable showcase for the swirling tornado of flame in the center.
The astounding 11-foot tall glass (132 inches!) was so large that it required multiple installers and the use of a cherry picker to maneuver the panes into place.
The end result is a fireplace quite unlike any other.
