In McLean, Virginia, Highgate at the Mile features a unique custom octagon fireplace in the lounge. This multi-family apartment complex combines luxurious living with a soothing zen-like escape from the everyday. So the fireplace needed to be both upscale and inspire a relaxing atmosphere.
Working closely with Fireplace Solutions in Northern Virginia, the Montigo engineering team was appointed to design a completely custom top-vented commercial fireplace for the middle of a room with 18 foot ceilings.
Boasting 16 panes of glass, 11 burners concealed in a centered firebed of clear fireglass, and a gorgeous, sweeping custom vent hood. For the greatest amount of clarity and safety, the octagon features our Power COOL-Pack glass, giving a safe and unobstructed view of the flame.
